The Japanese have a long tradition of crafting unique and exquisite teaware. Their ancient tea drinking history has evolved some unique teaware. We’ve selected items that are unusual so chances are you’ll not see these elsewhere. We find that having special tea implements truly enhances the experience and pleasure of drinking tea. The Tetsubin (pronounced “tet-SUE-bin”) is a Japanese teapot made of cast iron. They are highly collectible. They have evolved from their early days in the late 17th century as common household items into sensational works of art which are reflective of the Japanese culture.
